Ana Martinez moved from Barcelona to Yiwu in 2017 to head Vanta Workwear's technical fabric and certification program. She runs the relationship with our mill partners across cotton, polyester, ripstop, meta-aramid FR and hi-vis polyester knits — and she owns every test report, lab dip, wash trial and certification audit that backs a Vanta Workwear spec sheet. Before Vanta Workwear she spent eleven years in technical apparel R&D at a Spanish protective workwear brand serving petrochemical and utilities clients.
Her published guidance covers EN ISO 20471 vs ANSI/ISEA 107 hi-vis classes, NFPA 2112 and EN 11612 flame-resistant requirements, the GSM-vs-durability tradeoffs in workwear cotton-poly blends, and the technical sourcing playbook for sustainable recycled-polyester programs.
